Southern Arizona Bed And Breakfast in Old Mexican Style

Built in 1996, Casa de San Pedro Bed and Breakfast is exquisitely decorated and furnished with hand-carved furniture from Mexico. The effort to capture the atmosphere of the old inns of Spain and Mexico, where visitors were treated as invitados bienmirado (highly regarded and honored guests) and were lavished with personal attention can be sensed at every turn of this B&B. At Casa de San Pedro, the owners, Karl and Patrick, have clearly set the goal to provide their guests with a special experience and ensure their comfort while visiting Southeastern Arizona.

Casa de San Pedro has central courtyard with fountain and flowers. All Guest Rooms, each with a private bath, surround the courtyard and offer either a king size bed or two double beds for the comfort of the guests. Each room is entered from a covered patio where one can relax in an authentic Mexican patio set and enjoy the fountain and the vegetation that attracts hummingbirds into the courtyard. All rooms are air conditioned with individual controls ensuring personal comfort of guests, whatever the weather.

Fragrant shade grown coffees and herbal teas greet guests in the Dining Room, where a full gourmet breakfast is served with fresh baked goods, Casa entres, fruit, juice, and coffee or tea. The breakfast gathering provides a unique opportunity to meet other guests, get tips on local hikes, where to find the best wildlife habitats or gain information on the area and its rich history.

The Great Room provides an opportunity to read, complete a diary, plan your next hike, research birds on the computer or just relax by the fireplace. You may prefer to just look out the large windows and enjoy the beauty of the purple mountains which surround the inn in all directions.

The design and location of the inn provides an excellent setting for management planning teams, business and professional groups, family reunions, meetings and just plain relaxing.

The inn is adjacent to the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area and is situated on 10 acres bordering the San Pedro River. The broad grasslands in the valley and the cottonwood and willow trees along the river provide a constant supply of food, shelter and water for over 335 species of birds, 82 species of mammals, and 47 species of amphibians and reptiles.

Experts have labeled Casa de San Pedro Bed and Breakfast as one of the most romantic getaways and the most upscale bed and breakfast in Southeastern Arizona. Naturalists, bird watchers, history buffs and environmentalists herald the inn as a world-class accommodation with a heart.
