The inn offers three white and spacious double rooms with queen size beds; each room has its own romantic character. The rooms have separate entrances and are always full of light and sunshine. The guests are provided with all modern amenities they may need within their stay. Here they can find cable TV and DVD player in each room, wireless internet, washing machine, rich breakfast buffet and a guest-accessible kitchen. For those who want to relax and refresh themselves there is an up-to-date sauna.
Behind this bed and breakfast there is a garden full of flowers and a nice cozy terrace which can be used for breakfasts, lunches or just drinking tea along with a warm friendly conversation. The guests who appreciate reading can also use it as a small seating area where they can curl up with a good book. Such guests will certainly appreciate the inn’s library with a number of interesting books they can feel free to borrow.
The location of the inn is rather beneficial. It is situated in a quiet green area very close to a number of various attractions. From here you can easily get to the next resort and rest on the beach or go to the nearest golf course or to one of numerous nice places where you can just walk and enjoy nature. The inn also offers bikes for rent so it can be an ideal starting point for hiking and biking tours.
If it’s not enough, you can visit the nearby “rose town” Rapperswil which offers a lot of cultural highlights, coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. The town’s main sights are concentrated in its old part and can be seen while strolling through the medieval alleys.
The main attractions of Rapperswil include its rose gardens, Rapperswil Castle, the reconstructed wooden bridge to Hurden with its bridge chapel called Heilig Husli, the Capuchin’s monastery, the remains of the Middle Ages fortifications located on Lake Zurich and Lindenhof hill. Rapperswil is often referred to as the town of roses because of its extensive displays of roses in three designated parks. No less than 15,000 plants of 600 different kinds may be viewed between June and October. There is also a rose garden in the town center, accessible to people with disabilities. The location advantage of the place became rather beneficial for one more town attraction appreciated by tourists, namely for the national Circus Knie, the largest circus of Switzerland which is now based in Rapperswil.
